PARENT COORDINATOR

Ms. Testamark, PS 30M’s Parent Coordinator, is a school staff member. She helps to:

Create a welcoming school environment for parents
Increase parent involvement in the school
Communicate specific school information to families
Address parent concerns
And partners with and supports PS 30M's PTA

MESSAGE TO FAMILIES FROM THE PARENT COORDINATOR

Dear Families,

Welcome to PS 30M! At PS 30M, we understand the vital role that parents play in the education of their children.

Please call (212) 876-1825 to leave a message for your child's teacher—the best way to schedule an appointment.

During your appointment, it would be best to talk about:

- What your child is or will be learning
- How to best help your child with their schoolwork
- Resources for their children to learn outside of school

As for upcoming events for students and parents, you can find this information on:

- Bulletin boards in the school’s main lobby
- And in the school cafeteria

Students are also provided with school flyers. Be sure to ask your child if they have any when they get home. Announcements are also made on our social media pages.

Information may also be sent to you through our School Messenger System. This system will call homes with a pre-recorded message or reminder.

I also invite you to join our Parent Teacher Association and/or School Leadership Team. If you do not want to join, feel free to attend meetings without commitment.

With this said, there will be many parent activities throughout the year. Be sure to join us!
