Individualized Education Programs
We’re committed to providing your child who has a disability with the best. A free, quality educational program for success in this world we live in. One that is also aligned with the guiding principles of the law and the Department of Education.
This means we see your child as an individual needing support tailored to them. PS 30M provides this tailored support using Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Then, we decide on the learning environment and services for them. One in the least restrictive environment (LRE).
PS 30M teachers will also encourage your child to take part in classroom activities. For example, nudging your child to socialize with other students if comfortable. ​

English Language Learners/Multilingual Learners
If your child needs help learning English, PS 30M is the perfect school for your child. We can provide your child with a robust learning environment. But it will be an environment that supports and promote understanding.
We also pride ourselves on respect and appreciation for diversity. This includes cultural and linguistic diversity among our students. Thus, our English Language Learners receive meaningful access to quality instruction and resources. Support that will prepare them on a social and academic level.
Our ultimate goal is to help English Language Learners succeed. But our linguistic, social, and academic goals are as follows:
