Students enjoy the use of technology in our computer lab, classrooms, and library at PS 30M. As early as the 2nd grade, students begin working with computers.

Access to technology is known to enhance educational experiences for students. And, enhancing the study of math, science, social studies, and literacy is important to us.

We love to help students explore education in new, fun ways.

Access to technology also:

  • Helps students remember what they've learned in class

  • Lets students learn at their speed

  • Gives students access to a wealth of resources on the Internet

  • Helps students work with others in virtual learning environments

  • And, it provides students with practical life skills

For grades 3-5, students also use classroom computers for:

  • Online assessments

  • Academic intervention

  • Tutoring

  • Internet research

  • Multimedia presentations

  • And other digital creativity media
